Specific technical Interfaces

In order to respond to the problems of one of its clients, CiiS designed and built an application allowing for the interfacing of heterogeneous equipments (PABX, PoS terminals, Reservation terminals, Pay TV systems) with the specific business system of the client.

Using generic interfaces provided by CiiS, the different equipments to interface are easily steered by the client's business system.

The specificities of each technical system are taken care of by proven parameter-based components covering domains like:
  • the type of physical connection of the equipment (serial or tcp/ip),
  • the communication protocol,
  • the packet layout.

Interfacing with new equipments, or updating already interfaced equipments, becomes then easier as principally relying on advanced parameterizing.
